Morgan, I don't have any great advice to make your client more comfortable, I
wish I did. As a long time labor and delivery nurse though, I've learned to be
more concerned about women who come in with preterm contractions AND
leaking breasts. They seen to me to be much more likely to go on and deliver
early than the contractors who do not have leaking. Has anyone else seen
this type of trend? We have also started having diabetic moms collect some
colostrum while in labor, to have it available to combat low sugar in the infant
in those first hours. Deb - avoiding school work, cause LactNet is more FUN!!
