The local women's shelter where I volunteer received a donation of a Deluxe F. Y. breastpump.  I wonder if anyone can advise me whether this pump is safe to pass on to another mother?  Is there a barrier or filter in the pump or in the kit which would prevent cross contamination?  Thank you for your help.
