I have to agree with Anne. While I agree that LACTNET is not a place for violent rants etc... i do feel that allowing women debrief about situations that are challenging in an open and honest way can be very healing and empowering for her/him as well as those reading the post who often face the same frustrating situations but have no one to talk to about it. i grieve for mothers who choose ABM over breastfeeding. I grieve for their baby. But I conceal this grief from the mothers I support and from friends and family...because to do so in the society in which I live and work would be heresy!! So I come here instead to remember that I am not the only one. I can learn different ways of handling these frustrations, and laugh along with the jokes that help to keep me sane in a ABM world gone mad...
