Subject: [LACTNET] Depo as Social Engineering
**Hi Regina,
You wrote: "Personally I like reminding them that doctors are their
EMPLOYEES, who owe them thorough, easy-to-understand explanations and
whom they are perfectly free to fire if they want...."
**Well said; I'm always at how much this whole system gets to be turned
upside down, as if women/patients are there to please and accommodate the
medical staff, instead of the other way 'round!
But even one of the teachers during the IBCLC-study said this was (my)
"cursing in the church", saying that the ultimate decision is up to the
parents, and not the doctors... Long way to go... :-s
Kindly,
Marianne Vanderveen, Netherlands
