Those of us who are Medela pump rental depots can't get out of the
business easily. We had to pay Medela in December for this whole year's
use of their pumps to rent out. So we are stuck!
I haven't called our local Babies R' Us to see if they rent pumps. I'm
not sure I want to hear another incidence of their lack of knowledge
about what they are doing!
Ameda is the best kept secret around! I have also rented their pumps
since 1980, but their presence in my area of NE Ohio is minimal. I talk
about pumps when I teach prenatal BFing classes and most of the people
have never heard of Ameda. Hopefully with the Evenflo takeover, their
marketing will increase a LOT.
