I too can say that with pregnancy and breastfeeding I totally lost all of my
asthma symptoms. I have been asthmatic from 'birth' as I was a premie in the
1960s. To be symptom free for over 8 years was great and totally freaked out
my pharmacist; as I have regularly renewed my prescriptions with them for
many years. When I went without my meds for 3 months they called to see if I'd
switched pharmacies!
Unfortunately, as soon as my daughter fully weaned (I'd been cycling
regularly for 2 years) my symptoms came back within 2 months. Total Bummer! My
doctor (pulmonologist) gave me a study about pregnancy and symptomatology (circ
2002) from the University of WI but now that I want to share it I can't find
it. Seems that it is a 'valid' phenomena and has actually been researched.
Just adding to the anedotes.
Peace,
