The question in my mind is whether the partial placental abruption will
cause a drop in progesterone, with the resultant risk in triggering labor.
While I don't know the all the mechanisms of this process and the relative
risk, if the oxytocin receptors multiply early then nipple stimulation could
aggravate the situation further.

I am postulating here; I don't know for sure the real risk. If Pamela Berens
is on the list, she might have some good input.
