Donna, That is very interesting. She had a full supply with the first baby,
even after a pp hemorrhage. The next 2 babies, she had low production and
required moderate supplementation. It could be a pituitary issue. I would
want to know if she had any breast or chest surgery or radiation, is she on
any meds or herbals or any contraception, it may seem obvious, did you ask
about a depo shot? Does she have any signs of polycystic ovary syndrome? any
signs of excess testosterone? any problems conceiving or with the
pregnancies? Weight loss surgery?
In the meantime, continue supplementing and using the galactagogues. Did the
2nd child have any developmental or genetic problems, tongue tie? Check this
one too.
