It is not the pink hair. It is the look on her face that is the problem.
It is too provocative. It is like the video that was mentioned on Lactnet a
couple of weeks ago. The looks between the mom and baby on that video were
decidedly meant to be something other than beautifully maternal.
It is not the pink hair, but the other message that she is sending that make
people uncomfortable. It is the confirmation for those that interpret it
this way that breastfeeding is not just maternal behavior and, therefore, it
should be done at home or hidden. Maybe this is just a USA sensitivity, but
it exists here.
