In my inbox this morning:

Certified Lactation Counselors Course is a six credit – eight week
online course. Lactation Counselors are dedicated to the promotion,
protection and support of breastfeeding in their work to prevent and
solve breastfeeding problems. This course prepares participants for
the new national credential offered from the American Academy of
Lactation Policy and Practice, the CLC the Certified Lactation
Counselor.

Really, I think I should just set up my own New England Breastfeeding
Boomer credential, and do my own classes. After all.....I have
breasts, I must be capable of  granting a credential....
