I am new to this wonderful list.  I have been reading for about 2 weeks and 
am finally brave enough to join in.

My friend Teresa Pitman invited me and I look forward to learning so much 
from all of you wise women.

I am a new LLLL (Sept 2007).  

I have nursed my 2 boys into toddlerhood (1st 18.5 months self-weaned 14 
months LAM, 2nd 40 months mother-weaned 17 months LAM).

I am a scientist by trade but hope to become an IBCLC in the future once I 
have met all the requirements.  I would probably go into private practice (I 
have no interest in becoming a nurse).  I have been reading all the recent 
IBCLC threads very closely.

I will now return to lurkdom and continue to soak in the vast amount of info 
this site is giving me.
