I can tell you purely anecdotal of course, that mine has been the same
between both kids. I don't pump for work so I don't pump much but the
couple of times that I did, we got the same soapy taste. I haven't
tried scalding it but I haven't heard of any other method either so I'm
curious to see what you find out!
