This is coming from offshoot of Hartmann research team. Not published
yet, but hopefully will be soon. Have talked with our inhouse
pharmacist who says rifampin is used to boost antibiotic activity for
people with valve replacements, etc. any type of "narrowing" where
bacteria might "hide".

Jane, are there any cites for this 'new' info anywhere yet?
This post, combined with the last one about staph hiding there and the
Rifampin helping, is pertinent to a great many women seeking online
help, and it's hard not being able to hand out references so they can
then search out appropriate treatment. Who was the medical team etc?
Is it published, will it be?
Any sliver of info would be helpful. :-)
