labs to get:
prolactin levels before and 30 mins after nursing or pumping
HCG (for retained placenta)
testosterone
thyroid panel
other ideas:
single-sided pumping with compressions
SNS with largest tube and other tube "vented" for fastest flow (baby will
stay at the breast when he/she believes there is milk there)
be sure bottle very slow-flowing. (playtex just modified it's narrow
ventaire, so is no longer ridiculously slow.)
those are all the ideas I can come up with first thing in the morning...
