For those of us who work/post/share on internet forums, you may like to
know that there are now four new Jack Newman videos on the
breasfteedingbabies site, showing excellent through to poor milk
transfer with well latched on babies. I only did the blurb on it today,
in between putting up the Christmas tree and buying presents (our not
quite 3 year old suddenly 'turned on' Christmas in his head, requiring a
more grand spectacle than the one we thought we'd get away with!) so it
may not be up to scratch - suggestions appreciated.
For those who wonder about YouTube's breastfeeding agenda, all 11 videos
are up without any problem. Although the final one up this afternoon
(four of the sequence of four) must have hit some sort of search
pattern, as it had over a 1000 hits within an hour, and many of the
viewers left crude and horrible comments, which I deleted. In fact, if
you peruse any breastfeeding clips on YouTube where the poster isn't
online and checking for comments, you'll find truly repulsive and
sexually base comments left, which says much about the status of both
woman's bodies, and breastfeeding babies, in our culture.
On a tangent to that, I've been utterly underwhelmed with offers of
other legit videos to post: not one, in fact. So next time you're
rummaging through your own library of filmed stuff you have taken, and
used, and have permission to use from the mother etc, please spare us a
thought. Complaining about bad stuff is one thing, but fighting it with
the good stuff quite another! :-)
