Laurie says,
I am happy to hear of the overall increase in US national bf rates.
However, I am sorry to report that in my corner of Mississippi, initiation
of any bf is between 40 - 50 Percent.>>

I truly am having difficulty getting terribly excited about statistics when
they have a sample size purporting to be representative of the entire US of A
over a two year period of time when the sample size is 434 out of what would
have been 8,000,000 births during that time. I don't know a lot about
statistics, but it seems to me that the sample should be something more than
0.00005 of the recorded number of births.
Susan -- maybe you could comment? And Laurie, maybe they didn't talk to
anyone in your necks of the woods???
Jan -- just a bit cynical in Wheaton, IL.
