Yes, it is often a physical therapist (as we call them in the US) who does
therapeutic ultrasound, for all sorts of things from scar healing after
surgery to the plugged duct. Sometimes the radiology departments do
them--you can ask if they do it for kidney stones, which they may have dealt
with more frequently-- but often they only do diagnostic ultrasounds (not
what you're looking for).
