Has anyone seen the Golden Retriever Mama nursing the white tiger cubs that were abandoned at the Kansas Zoo? That would be a great story to use for World Breast Feeding Week, they have videos of the Nursing at Yahoo news. It was sad though, the spokes person for the Zoo and owner of the Golden Retriever said she would only let the Retriever nurse for another week and then switch to hand bottle feeding, formula....URGH...... When will people get how important biologically made milk is......Guess when Man gets involved, more often than not, we intervene and screw it up, rather than just letting things take it's course. I wonder how long the Retriever would have allowed these cubs to Nurse, probably as long as they needed, since it looks like they are already bonded from images on the Video....
