Excuse me, but isn't a c-section major abdominal surgery? esp if mom has 
labored for x hours first? This is so insane. We have no system in US for 
close follow up of mother/baby at home.  Many moms have little or no 
help/extended family etc.  Sure looks like a path to disaster to me, not to 
mention failure of breastfeeding :-(  Drive thru deliveries are coming 
folks! Back to work in a week or 2!   We have no repect for motherhood or a 
"lying in " period.  Just one more things for women to tack onto their 
lives.  And then we wonder why families fall apart.  Ack!  Pat in SNJ
