I am having trouble finding any research on the subject of how the amount of
lipase in human milk is determined. Does anyone know why some women would
have higher levels? I understand women that are malnourished have lower
levels of lipase, but I am wondering about higher levels. Does one's
nutritional intake make a difference? Can anyone point me to any studies if
the are available?
Thanks,
Tanya
