Isn`t it amazing what violent reactions there are when we publish proven
facts about the advantages of breastfeeding and the problems in formula
feeding.
We can see the pressure from the formula companies. In Israel Nestle has
bought out Materna the local formula company so it is to be hoped that the
Ministry of Health will check this product carefully for pollutants.
Caterers at breastfeeding and other conferences are not always aware that
Nestles coffee should not be available. I have informed all our course
leaders and events organizers of the Israel Childbirth Education Centre to
make sure that this brand is not served at our study days and training
courses.
