With all due respect, Morgan, that is the info I already have. Is there
anything new out there? Any further notices from FDA or doctors or
pharmacies who have been sanctioned or warned in any way? Please take a look
at this url and see what we are up against in US. Having been a nurse for 29
yrs, working within the medical-legal system here, and working with
breastfeeding families and their doctors for 26 yrs, I would not,
unfortunately, be comfortable advising the mother on getting domperidone
outside US, and doubt the docs would write a prescription for that or
compounding.
I will, however, refer to breastfeedingonline.com and Dr. Newman's info
there. The mom can then take it up with her doctor.
Has anyone run into any other uncomfortable situations around this issue?
Any Mississippi lactnetters who regularly help moms use this medication?
