robyn,
in this catalog, it very well might. i'm thinking of the fact that as
many men as women subscribe to it. i ran a program for homeless teens
before having children of my own and it was the #1 'reading material'
kept in the bathroom and at bedside for the young gents at their male
housing facilities. knowing that they consciously posture and cater to
mens' sexual fantasies and objectification of women just as much as
they try to sell products to women - i wonder (hope?) if they wisely
chose to downplay anything maternal/having to do w/ children lest they
be seen as doing just that. (sexualizing breastfeeding)
