Since my pregnancy, and continuing during my two years and counting of lactation, I have not had any problems with asthma, and have had only one migraine. This used to be hard to treat. 
My rheumatologist and I also feel that my auto-immune disease has been better controlled with nursing, and he plans to recommend it to all of his patients who choose to have children from now on. I'll suggest to him that he may wish to collect some data!
