Heather,
Perhaps to make it more European History, she could focus the paper on his
one piece of the puzzle: Nestle wins the Black Planet Award 2007

Subject: Nestle Boycott history  paper

My 15 yr old daughter is in an honors European history class. She has to =
write=20
a term paper six pages in length as part of the course on something of=20=

Euoropean history. her teacher says it can be as recent as this year to =
make=20
it history. She is an activist minded child, like her mother :o) and wou=
ld like to=20
do it on the Nestle Boycott, but when she submitted the idea her teacher =
was=20
not sure this was relevant to European history. From what we read, Nestl=
e=20
did originate in Switzerland, so that alone should make it qualify. There=
is also=20
tons of info out there on Nestle in the UK. She did explain the nestle bo=
ycott=20
to her teacher, and got an "If you say so" type of response.=20=20
In your opinion, is this a relevant piece of european history? I love tha=
t she=20
wants to do this, and love the idea of opening the eyes of a few of her=20=

classmates and her teacher, but would hate to see her get a poor grade bc=
its=20
not relevant. If anyone would like to share their thoughts, I would appr=
eciate=20
it.
Thank you,
Heather
