The United States Lactation Consultant Association which is the US National Affiliate for ILCA, wants to determine how Lactation Consultants are needed
are staffed currently. The goal is to create a national staffing
standard that could be used to encourage administrators to ensure adequate
lactation coverage and support for lactating mothers, breastfeeding infants and children that are hospitalized. Please
take the opportunity to participate in this survey if you are a hospital based IBCLC in the US.
