Hello...
I am looking for some guidance from anyone who has participated in the baby
friendly certification process. We have a cert. of intent, and are almost to
the finish line...but of course now dealing with the hardest part, finances. Our
hospital is part of a buying co-op and after a year worth of formula audits, we
came up with a reasonable amount for a projected cost of purchasing formula,
but the higher up in the buying co-op says its MUCH MUCH higher than what
we estimated at fair market value. Did anyone else deal with this with a
buying co-op? Also if anyone has any info on anti kickback legislation,
regarding grants given to hospitals from formula companies, it would be
greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Heather
