Cathy, I have a large shoe box, wrapped with gift wrap ( a gift!) and have
items that admittedly are a stretch for some of the illustrations.
I have a condom, pack of tissues, a note pad from Harvard School of Public
Health, a BMI calculator, a wallet ( empty), a pink breast awareness
ribbon, an empty vitamin bottle, and a hurricane safety checklist ( for down
here, good to use...). Hope that helps with some ideas. I basically just
rumage through my desk and kitchen for ideas and put the items in the gift
box. I pass the box around in class, have each person ( moms and dads) draw
out an item and explain how they think it relates to the benefits of
breastfeeding.
Hope that gives you some ideas!
