When a mom sees a dramatic drop in her milk supply as a result of taking
combo/estrogen-containing birth control pills, how long is it expected to take
to bring her supply back (if she is judiciously pumping and breastfeeding)? Is it
recommended that she bring her supply back up before beginning the mini-pill
(if she wants to continue taking a hormonal birth control)? I've searched the
archives but can't seem to find an answer for these particular questions.
Thanks,
Samantha Pfeifer, BS, CLE
