My last post of the day:
My client has termed this "D-MER" (depressive MER, though depression isn't really the right word). Nice shorthand.
This was her third birth, a lovely, no-intervention, continuous-contact-with-baby home birth. She says others with the problem have had births all over the map - short, long, hospital, home, surgical, various meds, no meds - Not a whole lot of help there. Possibly something in common, but her birth was so *especially* nice and the bonding so *especially* good that it's hard to believe the D-MER issue is connected.
