<<"unassisted childbirth" (whatever that means-it sounds like more that "natural" childbirth).>>
In my home-birth circles, unassisted birth means just that - a home birth w/o the assistance of a professional midwife. She & her partner or she jsut on her own gave birth w/o having anyone present as an official attendant. That's what it means, FYI. I'll see if I can record the Tyra programme to watch at some time when kids aren't around - I really don't like to watch TV when they're home/awake unless it's the Food Network. Since I have an almost 8 year old nursing (in addition to a very observant almost 5 year old and almost 2 year old, I don't wan them seeing this and getting any negative vibes about what's so normal & natural in our household). Thanks for letting us know about this.
