...exist in US.   They deal with the most wretched situations, no one ever 
thanks them for what they do to save children and they are very poorly paid. 
We have seen terrible mistakes in NJ and PA and both states are trying to 
reform the system, but I think they think paper work is the answer :-( 
Until the US realizes that children are important and value them, nothing 
will change.  The President just vetoed a bill  for uninsured children's 
health  care!  Health insurance is another BIG issue in the US, right along 
with a decent maternity leave.  It gets very discouraging.  Pat in SNJ
