I really apreciate the work that Karen Gromada has done and her recent post
as well on bottle feeding and nipple flow rates etc. We have very little
real knowledge regardingt which bottle to use.. Now there are new bottles
and nipples that add to the confusion. I am referring to the use of bottles
as a tool when need to help while breastfeeding problems are being
addressed. I agree with Karen about flow rates.It is interesting that one
baby's too fast flow rate is too slow for another baby. Babies do have
individual suckling styles often depending on their gestational age( full,
preterm, late preterm). Ann Anderson
