It's probably the lactase, that is not only in baby's mouth and intestines,
but also in mom's milk (to facilitate digestion) that causes the milk to
look like that so soon.
It's no problem; baby can throw up and go right back to breast, if willing
and interested. ;o)
Is baby healthy and thriving? In those 'happy spitters', spitting is merely
a self-regulating thing to limit stomach contents.
My collegue says: "It's a washing problem, not a breastfeeding problem!"
hahaha

Subject: [LACTNET] curdled milk
I have a mom that is exclusively breastfeeding her one month old baby and
she states that baby will "throw up" what looks like cottage cheese right
after the feeding when she burps him. It doesn't happen every time she
feeds either-two or three times per day.
I have looked up info, and have not found anything about this issue. Please
email me or post info if you have any. This mom wants to continue to
exclusively breast feed. THank you. Have a blessed day, Merideth Buell,
