No definite answers for you, but I can tell you I have had similar symptoms,
along with nausea at MER,

**This is where the clue is: nausia and dizzyness are well-known by-effects 
of oxytocin.
Oxytocin causes vasodilatation and therefore a kind lowering effect on blood 
pressure, which can give this faint feeling.
Women probably react differently to this .
No time to give you the references right now, but I reckon Riordan and 
Lawrence have definitely something to say about it. ;-)
