I do not have the info on this medication, however I wanted to comment on
the use of it. Since the baby is fairly young, and I hope exclusively
breastfed, and the medication is rated L4 which is possibly hazardous, here
is what I would suggest:
First, consider that sometimes the medicine is rated less than safe because
there is little or no data on it. Often it is a new drug.
Second, we could ask "should mom discontinue breastfeeding to take this
medicine?" OR we could ask "Is there another drug, or another treatment,
that we can use in this mother that will allow her to safely continue to
feed her baby?" I use the latter. I believe there might be other options for
this mom.

I like to think in terms of a pregnant woman who has a medical condition
that requires drug treatment. One would not typically ask the woman to abort
her fetus so that she can take the medicine, but one would look for
medicines or other treatment options that would be safe for the fetus.
The human nursling can be looked upon quite similarly to the human fetus.
This is how I hope health care providers would look at such situations: the
mother/baby unit.
