I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and saw a mom who was breastfeeding her 
6 week old infant. Mom was placed on Glimepiride to control her blood sugar 
and was told she shouldn't breastfeed. She wants to continue breastfeeding if 
at all possible. Does anyone know if this is safe for her to do?
