Dear Lactnetters-

I have been a long time subscriber now but only read occ. as I am a full time
mom and no longer working in L & D. However, I do a lot of volunteer type
work in my community and one thing I do is lead a large chapter of Holistic
Moms Network. I had an idea last spring that is now going to happen, and I
need some help.

My idea is to have a large 'nursing mothers' tent for our annual Earthday
festival complete with covered shade area (it can be super hot that day),
chairs, free water, literature to read, free snacks, etc. I would really like to
have a one or two sheet 'BF Facts' sheet to hand out to area moms, with
facts on how breastfeeding helps them, their babies, saves money in our
community, our country, our world...general statistics, if there are any, on
how bf helps our environment (and our children). We have a couple reporters
in our chapter that I am going to ask to write a story on this tent and
hopefully include these statistics, so any and all would be fantastic. Or if
there is a web page you can send me to, that would be great.

 Thanks so much-

 Heather Davis
