"I am having a hard time getting the night shift nurses to change their ways
of supplementing at night even if not needed..."

You know we are so much more effective when the nurses get to know us as
people, even a little bit. Do you ever work the night shift? It would be
worth sacrificing a night or two to have this captive audience to talk to.

(I had to put in my time in red eye radio while I was getting my
broadcaster's license. Some volunteer efforts are worth the results.)
