Subject: Re: [LACTNET] Cradle vs Transition Hold & pillows/reflux
**Hello Debbi,
In fact, I wonder about the prevalence of reflux since special pillows came
on the scene. Babies aren't supposed to be laying flat. How does the milk
know which way to go---and know to stay down? Gravity applies to drinking,
too!
**What a very interesting way of putting it! What you actually say, if I
understand well, is that the prevalence of reflux might be so high, because
not carrying babies is an unnatural situation. There may be nothing wrong
with their sphincters, but with our society putting her babies down and away
so much! In line with that... couldn't that also go for cry-babies?
Fascinating...
