WOW!! Did I hit a nerve??  Thank you for those who have responded off site
with the professionalism I would expect of our fine profession. For everyone
who is so angry, it reminds me of why I never talk about my 5 long years as
an RN, IBCLC at CPS. Everyone hates the CPS worker and the tax man!!  But
FYI--  I did read all the attached information on the case, as I do on all
topics before I speak to them. I found that a great deal of the information
is considered private by the court.  Of course, I am not saying what is
involved with this case, there is no way to know every aspect of everything.
 Were the Essex Social services workers wrong, possibly-- Unless we see the
full case documents we may never really know.  All of us have dealt with
professionals not doing what they are trained or qualified to do, this
happens so often to me!!  A front receptionist giving medical advise, an RN
diagnosing illnesses, the list is truly endless.  I am sorry that many of
you have come across people who are working for the welfare of children who
are not acting like professionals.  I am thankful to have been involved with
the true professionals who change families lives for the better.  Sincerely
