Years ago I had a mom in my group who had to pump for a baby with severe 
cardiac problems.  The sound of the pump motor triggered her let-down!!!  If 
I remember correctly she pumped for about 9 mo until baby was able to have 
corrective surgery.  Baby never nursed tho :-(  Now remember this was back 
in the day...we had bicycle horn hand pumps and big lumbering breast pumps 
made out of a gomco suction pump! No  one knew how to hand express :-(   Pat
