Hello all,
Thank you so much for your quick replies. I have been praying and thinking
about the situation all day, and I think I am first going to apologize to her
because a couple of you said it exactly right--I have painted her into a corner
(perhaps without meaning to) because everyone at church does know me for
being the "go to" with a breastfeeding issue. I will humbly ask her to forgive
me for stepping on her toes and invading her privacy. It is possible that there
may be issues surrounding her ability to lactate that are, truly, none of my
business. I feel so heartbroken for her, because if she is able to nurse and just
doesn't want to, I grieve because this likely will be her only shot at having a
healthy baby. I do not know if another pregnancy would be possible. I will give
her all the encouragement and support I know how when her baby comes,
regardless of how she is fed. (I would do that anyway )and continue to work
on my curbing my nosiness. But it isn't wrong to ask for a miracle, is it?
thanks for setting me straight!
kindly,
Leslie
