Keep those references and citations handy for your next JCAHO visit.
Our Nursery got dinged when an RN was seen handling mom's milk without wearing gloves. I gave printouts, not just the citations, to the Nsy Mgr so she can address this when JCAHO returns to see how we handled their recommendations.

It is JCAHO, and probably the State Dept of Health, that requires separate refrigs / freezers (which I think is a good idea) and bagging mom's milk in BioHazard bags. Why not use ordinary zip top bags? They are always clearly labeled to identify the (also clearly labeled) bottles of milk inside.

And I had the "precautions" discussion - again - with management as they performed their regular updating of hospital P&Ps. Those references and citations were essential.
