Wow. Thanks to all who have offered me great suggestions, both on-list and off, for the mythical doe-eyed mom. I love the way several Lactnetters simultanesouly came up with the same tack: telling mom we are walking with her, evaluateing step-by-step, and are supporting her decision to BF (rather than focusing on amounts of milk made). I feel relieved that my approach seems to echo others of you here on Lactnet.
Cyberhugs to Lactnet -- and by extension, to all the doe-eyed mothers we see in our practices!
