I did not think of the culturing. That is a good idea. If I were the mom, I
think I would discard maybe a weeks worth of milk *IF* I had a freezer full,
and then I would clean everything like crazy probably with a bleach mixture,
and make especially sure I was cleaning *and drying* all the parts each use
or at least each day. I don't think anyone can know for sure if this is a
danger. If the baby is 6 months old and healthy, I guess it might be no
worse than eating a piece of cheese that you discover has mold on another
part of the block or bread that you discover mold on another part of the
loaf.
