Please someone educate me here - but I thought that the intrathecal did NOT
get to the blood stream - it goes into only the spinal fluid. The epidural
goes into the epidural space where there is direct contact with the blood
stream. I learned this many years ago when an Anesthesiologist came to talk
to one of our ILCA affiliate groups.did I hear/remember wrong??
