Hello to all from a long-time lurker who now is asking for a little help. My
hospital will soon be investigating the development of a siesta/quiet time on
our OB unit. I am hoping that all of you who have such a program in your
hospitals could share information with me about your own program, pros and
cons, difficulties encountered in establishing/maintaining such a program, etc.
When I approached the mothers at the breastfeeding moms group I facilitate,
I got a resounding "Do it!!!" but I suspect we may get some negative feedback
from physicians and housekeeping... Any input you may have will be greatly
appreciated! On or off LN are both fine...Thanks so much! And stay
tuned...my next goal is a Sacred Hour right after the birth...I planted seeds
for this during WBW this year.....
