Recently there was a post from Rachel Myr, listmother, about the guidelines
on products, and touting their merits on lactnet. It seems to me the recent
posts on nipple emollients have reached a stage that amounts to free
advertising.
Aside from being really, really boring to those of us outside the country
where named products are sold, (and who do not practice through products) it
SOOOOO tarnishes the image and reputation of the whole professionalism and
approach of all working in the field of breastfeeding support to be so
addicted to products, gadgets and so on.
Although I know it would drive them nuts to have to police the list, I for
one would be SO GRATEFUL if the list mothers could jump on these dicussions
earlier.
Cheers,
