Speaking of WHO Code, I was saddened to see the ad in a major childbirth education journal in which a producer of "breastfeeding pillows" displayed photos of infants being bottlefed.
The childbirth education association states that it is WHO compliant in its policy statement.
The editor has issued a retraction. As I perused other childbirth education and doula-related publications, I saw no ads that violated WHO code.
So sad - these ads are back in at least one of our childbirth education journals.
